Hmm... I wonder why nobody ever sees the sticking-out-tongue smilies. They are pretty self explanatory, it was not like you had to tell me it was nice or anything. The idea, I mean.

I'm with the TMP event being on the following weekend of V-day.

Okay, here's what we have on the floor, and we need a vote:

1. Fantasy setting, with a poetry contest
2. TMP, with a costume contest, around Valentine's Day (weekend after)
3. Both, with a little time between them

We already have permission for #1. We'd need permission for #2 or #3.
So, let's get the ball rolling - a few people were already in favor of the poetry contest, but, most of the comments made on that were before the other options came into play (and, nothing says that we can't still have a poetry contest if the whole shindig gets moved to TMP).

Let's have a quick vote, then pester whoever we need to pester to get permission as needed.

Since we're considering doing 2, if that's permissible, be clear whether you're voting for doing both, or one or the other.
My vote is for option 3 (something in both modern and fantasy)

If it's not permissible to do two events so close together, please, let us know!
