I seem to end up in the weird seats today. Human for me, but not the core standard human. I seem to be drawn to the strange human subbreeds like azurins, illumians, dvati, and so forth.

Right now, I'm big on dwarves. I'm not so big on the "beer-drinking warriors" archetype, but more of the "family and clan loyalty" aspect.

However, historically I've been big on halflings. They're a fun race to play.

Y'know, I can't help but wonder if theres an opposite to that. A hot girl who likes to RP creepy guys.

Unfortunately, there are girls like that. Well, girls that like to play sociopathic androgenous hermaphrodites, anyway. :uhoh: (My inner dialogue: "she's hot.... but she's creeping me out... but she's hot! Aaaugh!!" :uhoh: )

I identify the most with humans, of course. As something of a serial nomad myself, I can gel with the neo-halfings as well. I'm glad they don't have the "Kender-curse", though. It's a shame that gnomes have not escaped the "dragonlance effect", though. Ah, well. :)

I gravitate mostly to humans, and most of my characters are human. Old school halflings (i.e. hobbits) are number two.

Half-elves, more or less due to the sort of outsider status feasible with them (not really part of either world, yet with links to both). Also, back in my high school days, I focused more on the fact that I'm half-Irish (my dad's father and my dad's maternal grandparents came over from Ireland), and it always kinda stuck with me (esp. since my mom's side of the family are typical American mutts, and a lot of the people I knew were). Don't really reflect on that aspect anymore.

Now, I just like `em. Think they & half-orcs could've gotten a slightly better deal as a PC race, but I still like them enough to use them for a PC. And, in a way, I like the advantage of being able to take the Half-Elf paragon class & then be able to level up in Elf paragon or Human paragon afterward.

Creepy hawt chick that summons and raises undead, and later becomes undead herself?

While being a big, fat, bearded, nacho cheese doritos eating guy myself?I already said Undead, so we'll just say I'm hedging my bets.
