With which race do you identify?

Elves. I get impatient with others' pettiness and stupidity all the time. If I could hide myself away in a magical forest forever, I would.

Yeah, that's pretty much where I am. Although periodically, particularly when stressed at work, a half-orc barbarian with a big axe would suit me fine.

Gnome. I played a female gnome cleric a few months ago on a PbP forum. While it didn't last long, she was a great character. The WotC book Races of Stone gives an interesting perspective on gnomes.

Although I'm neither particularly bibulous nor taciturn, I identify most with dwarves. I like things crafted of metal and stone, and enjoy mountains and underground places.

If I had a second choice, it would be gnomes for their sense of humour, intellectual curiosity and intelligence.
