Wizards as Monsters

So I have the PCs set to fight a wizard in his tower. I realize that he'll need to be a controller solo. My aim is to have him on one floor of a tower, with a hole/balcony over the floor below. On the lower floor I was going to have skeleton minions (dressed as apprentices, I guess), with the idea being that he'll wait until the PCs get up to him, then use a teleport-other attack to drop them over the balcony (there's bookshelves below, so if they roll Atheletics they can avoid damage).

so I was thinking of adding the following to him:

1) Teleport attack 1: int vs. fort(?will?), 1d6 dmg; drop PC(s?) over the balcony (athletics to avoid damage/hang onto bookshelves).
Should this be a standard attack, or an immediate interrupt? I want a high recharge.

2) Teleport Attack 2: move the PCs, either swapping positions or elsewhere on the same level; no or low damage. Likely a move action, or minor action.

3) Likely an artillary magic missle-type attack. Maybe psychic damage?

4) Invisibility until the end of his next turn; like the Gnome "fade away" ability. Immediate interrupt. High recharge (4, 5,6)

I'll be using the monster-maker program, but this is my first try at it for the campaign (I've been using the MM1 the whole way).

Any recommendations? I've never done this before (well, done a good job of it, professional level that I'm hoping to reach for anything I whip up).

The game is tomorrow, but brilliant idea. Are they human?

Familiar: good thinking. I hadn't established one, but maybe an imp of some sort?
Would it be too much to have the Imp attack on its own, but when the wizard casts a lightning bolt, use the Imp as the source?

Autumn Winds: the wizard grabbed an Eladrin noble, so he could have some kind of Autumn-based powers to represent this. Maybe gusts of wind, to buffet & push/slide the PCs?

Any warnings about the creature-maker on DDI? I've never used it.

What level creature and how many and what level PCs?

Without this information it is quite difficult to propose a solution to your dilema.

The statted NPCs are race-neutral, and you have an appendix of racial templates to apply to them, covering all races in the PH1, plus gnomes and half-orcs.
