wizards forums are up

Hmm, there's no cup holder big enough for my Big Gulp. And there's is very little leg room. And what if I only had 1 hand? Velcro would be much better than buttons. Damn you WotC!

Maybe I'm racist, but I don't like the white screen. :p

I'm not sure why I had to give my zip code to finish my profile: what use is that?

I hate how they changed the top tabs:
What I mean look at this forum.
EnWorld-->General RPG --> General RPG Discussion -->Wizard Forums up.

Now this is what they did.
D&D-->topic
So I can't go back to Older Editions unless I push back button. I can't just click the top tab anymore.

I kind of like the side bar though.

They look cleaner. A little difficult for me to have an opinion until I give them a spin for a bit, maybe a week.

I cant get it to work. It says I have to update my profile then when I enter my info and press save changes nothing happens. Can someone tell me WTF is up?

Took me a second as well.

I had to get in, login, then close my browser and start over. Worked then.

I wish they had gone with more of the 'standard' conventions of forums. I'm rather used to them.

It is one of the things that's bothered me about rpg.geekdo

My assessment: Looks pretty until you try to actually use it.

All the crap off to the sides might make sense for a forum list or a thread list but I want it gone when I am actually trying to read a thread. And despite the generous amounts of white space elsewhere, the actual lists of forums are a cluttered mess, much harder to find anything in than the old lists.

My first attempt to log in didn't work, whether I used my e-mail address or my username (it was ambiguous which it was even asking for). The latter eventually took me to a page where I could log in using my e-mail, only to be presented with a bunch of mildly intrusive questions I have to answer to get at any boards. Since I am not the slightest bit interested in answering any of them, and according to others who've posted above they don't work anyway, I literally have more functionality logged out than logged in right now; at least when logged out, I can read posts.

Nothing about this even remotely justifies over a week of downtime. With Gleemax, we got huge hype over what amounted to minor changes to forums that already existed, and the addition of not very good blogging features. So far, this is about the same, if not worse.
