Martial Power needed more time so it slipped to November. Coincidentally the RPG Starter came in a early so we moved it up a month.

Our general plan is to have one main title a month with some secondary product like a tile or adventure

Nice to know that sometimes stuff comes out earlier than expected, too!

Thanks for the info, Scott.

Uh, yeah.

I have a different problem.

I know they are trying to "pace" things, but at some point sooner rather then latter all the obvious stuff to release, and buy, will be out, but this edition will still only be a few years old.

That's no different than 3.0's releases. The class builder series (e.g. - Sword and Fist) were completely published in less than 2 years.

Well, the idea is to do a new setting every year, right? So that's 3 books and I don't think they'll run out of settings soon...
With a new PHB every year introducing new classes and power sources there will also be options for new power source books, I guess. So that's 2 or 3 books...
With that schedule I think they can keep going a while as the rest can be filled up with adventures, some extra books like the Draconomicon and Adventurer's Vault and such...

I can think of a whole buttload of 'obvious stuff' to release.

-the PHBs, with new power sources, classes, etc.
-the DMGs, with deeper rules on skill tests, traps/hazards, design notes, etc.
-the MMs, with more monsters
-the Adventurers' Vaults, with more gear
-a reprise of the environment books from 3e, but taken much further- a book on Jungles & Forests, a book on Swamps & Marshes, a book on Mountains, etc.
-a system for mass combat and running a kingdom
-the 'Power' books for each power source
-setting books
-monster type books- dragons, demons, devils, oozes, undead, etc. I could see whole books on just one particularly excellent monster, like the old Illithiad.
-a book that is all new powers for the various classes.
-alternate rules books (similar to UA)
-adventures (good ones, in boxed sets with poster maps and minis)
-books of rituals
-a 'Book of Artifacts'
-a book that includes genre-crossing rules- how to do d&d/Boot Hill crossover stuff; could be in the DMGs, but an entire book could be dedicated to this. Don't know how it would sell, but I'd buy it.
-books of new paragon paths and epic destinies

Etcetera.

Keep in mind too that each year's PHB allows for a whole new set of expansion books based on the new power sources in it. I think there's a good long time before there isn't any more fairly obvious material to print. :)

DeusX & The Jester: Sure there is stuff. But how many power sources, PHBs, settings, MMs...ect...do you need?

And yes, there is more creative stuff, like a mass battle book, or one on running dominions, adventuring at sea, ect that can be released. So I guess we can wait and hope to see them, even if we barely did last time.
