Here's a post that's pretty likely to get me in trouble.
Although that seems intuitively correct, that's actually untrue. Computer games fall in exactly the same category and have been one of the very best sectors of the economy for the last year. It's likely that ~$50 games are a cheap alternative when someone can't afford a new car or vacation.
I'm just enough of a socialist to disagree with the ideology behind that. No one deserves to go hungry or be homeless.
