Wizards to sell naming rights to D&D spells -- will YOU buy?

So how much would you be willing to pay for a spell with your name?
Sure, I'd take it for free or pay a bare minimum. But to pay a serious sum of cold cash? ... I dunno. $2,000 maybe, although I doubt that would be enough for Wizards to consider.
We could start a collection in ENWorld's name and submit a proposal to Wizards of the Coast. If we drop N and W to lowercase, it almost looks like a fantasy character name: "Enworld's Transformation," for example.

I doubt I would go over $2500. However, put in a rule that any spell I cast with my name on it can't be saved against and isn't affected by spell resistance, and I'm all over that. Dinkeldog's Fireball!

Maybe WotC could use eBay to auction the names. I just hope noone comes up with "l33t d00d's Floating Disk" or something.

Wicht, ditch them and get a new batch. Then talk them into writing a story hour and demand part of the royalties.

You'll have that 2k in no time.
