WizKids Previews New D&D Mini Sets

Interesting that it looks like there is a single huge creature in the set.

When I heard about the spell effects minis I got excited, but then I see they aren't designed to have them share the same space with other minis. I have a need for minis I can put under characters.

The two spell sets are exactly what I want. I’ve had to improvise those multiple times and custom made some spiritual weapons. super excited to throw money at those.

Saves money on having to make different boxes from it her sets.

But it makes it super easy to cherry pick based on weight. I got pretty good at getting certain huge rares back in the day, and that was with one huge per pack.

The spell effects are pretty cool, but that city of the dead set is grossly overpriced for a few drybrushed tombstones.

Hopefully the modron(s) end up in the Nolzur's line. I'm still holding out for a quadrone/rogue modron!

I wish we had a closer look at the Dragonheist minis. That looks like a rather weird looking beholder, but unsure if it is actually supposed to be a beholder. Looks like they may have a Grick there too.

I still don't understand why people buy random minis packs instead of demanding they tell you exactly which ones are in the box so that you can get the ones you want.
