Wolfgang Baur's Open Design #3 down to Ghouls vs. City-State

Each time I've only joined at the cheapest level (because that's all I can afford) and that's all through LiveJournal, except for the occasional email from Wolfgang. I believe the higher level patrons have access to a hosted site. I'm sure someone can confirm that.

It depends on your needs. It's probably best, but you could use your wife's account if she's willing. She'd show up in the friends portion of the Open Design livejournal page, so that might be a concern for her.

The first round I was offered the option to get emails. Even if that's still an option, you lose a lot of the interactivity for the site.

No worries, I'll set up my live journal account then rather than use hers. I'll just use IE to browse and leave her logged in on Firefox. Thats what I wanted to know though :) I'll be sending my payment in soon.

Wolfgang gave me a different answer there to what he did on this thread though so now I am a little confused.

Can you clear this up at all Wolfgang?

Sorry to have muddied the waters -- honestly, it hasn't really come up so far. The essays are a freebie I post about once a month while folks are members, on whatever topic is at hand.

But sure, sign up for the third set and I'll make sure you have access to the essays from Shadowcrag. I think there's four or five of them, plus there will likely be another six or seven essays from the third project.

Seven actually (assuming your numbering is correct).

Just got my copy of Castle Shadowcrag from Lulu today. With some luck I'll post a review here this weekend.

Question: can I also get those? I'm really interested in the design essays and the process of the adventure design that the final product per se.

I think Joe qualifies as the first reviewer!

Ordered my lulu copy today, how's the print version Glyfair?

As good as any professional 3rd party product with a B&W interior. Reminds me a lot of the later softcover Freeport books.

Cool!

Thanks for that Wolfgang, I appreciate it. I'm in. Go Empire of the Ghouls!
