Wookie Barbarian

Man, this makes me want to talk someone into running a D&D meets Stars Wars game again... elves with lightsabers.. we came this close to making it happen.

Wookies kick ass. I always wanted to incorporate them into D&D, but Star Wars resonates so much with people it might cause belief suspension problems. I’m still glad to see that someone else had the same idea, so I must not be that insane.

Esp. since that Wookie Rage is at will, and has no limit.

That says to me, "Wookie Frenzied Berserker!" No more spending all your feats to get to Frenzied Berserker at 10th or so level; a Wookie Ftr6 can meet all the requirements and take Frz1 at 7th level.

For true giddy fun, take Tiger Shen (from Dragon # 319), which has its own frenzy ability, which includes an immunity to nonlethal damage. Also, that's another +8 Str (hybrid form +4, frenzy +4), which increases the duration of the shen frenzy. Combine with a ring of biofeedback, and you can fight forever. Sure, to do it properly you need to be Epic, but it's cool.
