Finish the hardcover adventure trilogy, probably.

What's left is Races of Ansalon, Dragons of Krynn, Tasslehoff's Map Pouch: Legends, Dragons of Winter, Dragons of Spring, and Leaves III. There is no hardcover compilation of either of the major adventure trilogies.

Jamie has said in the other thread on this topic that product can be produced through January, and sold through June. So that's a little extra time, though not a whole lot.

Still no Taladas book.....19 years and counting since the boxed set :(

With the fantastic novel trilogy, I'd have thought it would be a perfect chance.

MWP wanted to do Taladas, but with the license coming to a close, they just couldn't squeeze it in.

The Dragonlance Nexus is going to work on continuing the MWP legacy. Among what we have planned is an online Taladas "sourcebook" in PDF format. It won't be official, but it will update Taladas to include the Taladas trilogy and will include materials from James O'Rance's excellent Taladas: Time of the Dragon Lords site.

That will be some time in the future, though, as we're currently working on the continent of Adlatum.

So yeah, it's sad that MWP won't see the fruition of all their plans, but they're getting the essentials out, and the fans will carry the banner beyond that. :)

Personally, Given the facts as we (the gaming public) are to understand them at present I think the optimistic use of the word 'renews' is rather misplaced.

 How can this not be good news?

1 month more than was known previously, while not "bad news", is hardly "good news" as in an extra 12-24 months that might have given us books on Taladas, Ambient magic, the Chaos War etc.

I may be crazy, but perhaps, just perhaps, someone at WotC said "hey, this Dragonlance movie is coming out, and we want to do some product to coincide with it. The folks at Weiss productions just seem to do a better job of this that we do, why don't we give them a crack at it? It's not like we won't make money off of the license..."

Unlikely, but this gives me hope that they will also realize that Dungeon Magazine puts out far better module content than WotC and restore that license to them as well.

(Of course this is just my opinion on what constitutes better, YMMV).
