I'm with those who are just content with WOTC.

While I didn't like the implementation of 3.5 and feel it was a bit too soon, it has its good points. My real disappointment is with their supplements. After feeling burned on too many of the 3.0 books (ELH, PsiHB, Arms and Equip Guide, 90% of each splat book) I have yet to purchase anything but the core books for 3.5. But there are so many other publishers out there, I don't really feel the loss. And for that, I give them huge kudos for the OGL - that alone has me hoping WOTC keeps control DnD for a long time to come.

In summary: yeah, they've made mistakes, but overall they've helped the game and the hobby as a whole.

I like donuts and the Scarred Lands. WotC can do what ever it wants.
Ditto. I handled 3E like I handled the previous editions: Keep what I liked and dumped/changed what I didn't.

Granted, I remember keeping more from the Core Rules with previous editions...

Overall, I'm happy that things seem moderately stable at the moment.

But that's just me. What do you feel?

Cheers!

I feel similar but would be happier if they made more regular contributions to the OGC pool beyond the SRD.

I'm quite happy with what they are doing. They've put out some absolute winners and only very few complete blunders. The 3,5 books are great, FRCS, Lords of Darkness, Magic of Faerûn, Races of Faerûn, Oriental Adventures and Manual of the Planes are all cream of the crop. I'm disappointed that they didn't choose the new format for the class books right away but some testing is to be expected. The schedule for this years looks terrific: Expanded Psionics Handbook, Player's Guide to Faerûn, Unearthed Arcana and Player's Guide to the Planes are all must-have books for my collection and all have the promise of becoming classical.

Room for improvement surely, but very good product range overall...

As for myself, for the most part I have been happy with WOTC production and direction of the D&D line and like most companies, there is still room for improvement.

I'm fairly satisfied with what Wizards is doing. However, I think I can see why some people are upset...

d20 is "D&D GURPS." It's become a plug-and-play rules system, suited for whatever genre you want with easy plug-ins for new rules. People are right that a lot of the 'flavor' is gone... but that doesn't bother me so much.

Personally, I hope "4th Edition" is actually a d20 Fantasy rulebook (in the vein of d20 Modern) with a fleshed-out Greyhawk Campaign Setting book to take the place of the pseudo-Greyhawk in the current PHB/DMG/MM combo.

I'm generally happy. I find almost all of the books useful, and given that I homebrew, I create my own flavour. I buy books for rules, and WotC give them too me. I think the revision was useful and generally improved the game, and I really really like the minis (i used a battle mat before 3.5 too).

I'd like it if they released softcover, B&W books, but I realise the reasons behind why they don't and so I'm not too worried.

Overall, I buy more WotC stuff than all other gaming things combined, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

I agree to a certain extent, but I do note that they slipped in some more OGC in the 3.5E revision (basic Epic Level rules, Planar rules), and Unearthed Arcana will be 99.9% OGC. And I guess the revised PsiHb will also add to the OGC they've released, and after that Andy might finally have some time to release the Dt&Dg, Urban Arcana and ELH material he's been promising. (There's a strong possibility that the ELH and Dt&Dg material will be revisied to 3.5E, which delays it further :()

Cheers!

I'll throw my hat in the 'really pretty happy' ring. The thing that's surprised me most recently is basically how well-done and attractive (imho) the 3.5 revision is. I was pretty frustrated at the rapid revision (since I couldn't at the time afford to buy it, and my players wanted to import some of the changes). But after spending some time with the 3.5 PHB, I have to say that it's extremely well-done.

Color me happier than I expected to be.

I'm generally happy, somewhere between Really happy and just happy. ;)

I like 3.5, although I could see where some people wouldn't, it is awfully early. But I still like it. I like most of the books they've released, although they have released their share of stinkers (Sword and Fist, Song and Silence, the Mini Handbook), but I'm generally happy with their books (BoED and the Draconomicon have given me a great many ideas...).

Overall, I'm happy.
