Early this week, WotC announced on Twitter that today there would be some kind of announcement on their Twitch channel. Those who heard that announcement and tuned in were treated to an announcement that the new storyline will be announced at a live event in June.

The press release announcing the impending announcement also mentions a new setting, as well as the storyline, so it sounds like it might not be set in the Forgotten Realms (or maybe is in a new region - to 5E - of the Realms, such as Icewind Dale). The adventure and the setting might be the same thing, or they might be completely different things. Recently, WotC has released a bunch of settings: Eberron, Ravnica, Wildemount, and the upcoming Theros.

Fans of D&D will learn all about the new setting and storyline

The new storyline specifically will be revealed at 12pm PST (8pm GMT) on Thursday, June 18th.

The June event will raise money for Comic Relief, and will feature celebrities including Brandon Routh (Superman), and will preview the brand new storyline. It takes place June 18th-20th. Other names involved include Felicia Day, Deborah Ann Woll, Amy Acker, David Harbour, Matthew Lillard, and more.

They're going to have to reprint all the infusions (plus the new ones), so I'm not so sure.
Good point, that hadn't occurred to me.

As I said, I think we are looking at a "consolidation book" in November, reprinting the vast majority of subclasses, spells etc that are not in the PHB or Xanathar's. As well as new stuff of course.

They could make me very happy by adding the satyr in there.
My guess would be that it wouldn't include races. Whilst the satyr is easily portable most of the recently published races are far too setting specific for a "general consolidation" book.

(anyway, if you want PC satyrs in your game you can easily find the stats on line, and the lore is in the monster manual).

Hey, if it's Planescape/Xanathar's 2.0, I think races are likely. Reprints of Genasi, Aasimar, Shadar-kai, Eladrin, and a few other new races, like Bauriar and Rogue Modrons.

If that's not just some clever Photoshop job, looks like we're in for some Auril-centric goodness (with both her epithet "Frostmaiden" and what looks to be her symbol in the upper left)...

The three- or four-fingered hands (it's hard to tell, the creature's right hand looks like it has three, while the left looks like four, could definitely use a higher quality image) are interesting - is it a mind flayer behind that owlbear mask? It's obviously not an actual owlbear (no wings for starters), and mind flayers have long been rumored...
