My theory is we will see modules set in Ravenloft, and maybe some monster book, for example Dr Arthur Sedgewick's compendium of unholy creatures or Alanik Ray's secret files of the dark lords.

Psionics? For the blow your mind comment. Dark Sun perhaps.

Something new leveraging his unique talents or background? Maybe a setting book/adventure that’s...gasp...not a medieval Europe stand in.

Just say, "I'm working on project "X"". The new Ravenloft book just came out today and already they're teasing another book. Let me enjoy this book for a moment. I'm to the point to where its getting old and personally I feel if you're not going to say what it is I'd prefer they don't say anything. A book coming out in 2022 isn't a revelation.

Planejammer. Imma keep saying it until it happens. :D
It's not just keeping on saying it, it's exactly the sort of concept, which on Twitter, would merit using that sort of meme.

Because like, to us, right, on this board, it's like "Oh yeah that idea that various people kick around...", but the first time I read about in here, I was like "That's so dumb... wait... maybe not... wait... that's genius!!!" which is exactly that kind of mind=blown experience. And to most random D&D Twitter people it would be pretty mind=blown.

So I actually think that's quite likely. Psionics is also pretty plausible from the same stuff, but relies on the gif and wording being more literalistic, which seems unlikely given the "seatbelts" comment which would still have to be metaphor.

Really it comes down to one of three possibilities:

1) Some kind of mash-up of existing stuff (most likely Planesjammer).

2) Psionics.

3) One of those "I can't believe they didn't already do this..." ideas.

Because nothing else is going to be a "wild ride" or "mind-blowing".

When I read "unbelievable ride" I can only think of roller coasters - which makes me think of the D&D ride that led Hank and friends into the magical realm of Dungeons & Dragons. So he is creating a magical roller coaster to transport us all to fight Venger.
He is even telling us to buckle our seatbelts. Come on! This is definitely a magical roller coaster.

As someone who’s spent too long working in publishing, I immediately think that “it’s been an incredible ride” is less a punning hint and more a joke about editorial drafts going back and forth…
