WotC Brownies?

Terramotus

First Post
I could have sworn that I had seen a WotC-produced version of the Brownie, either 3.0 or 3.5, but looking through my books, I can't seem to find one. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? Or, barring that, are there any good conversions of them out there?

Thanks in advance.

i'd try the Lord of Darkness supplement for FR or the Book of Vile Darkness or the Gladiator adventure in Dungeon 88 iirc.

they had really cool rules for new poisons and their uses.

the MM combined the sprite entry to include many of the fey

Rool from Willow was the best Brownie ever.

And he was played by Kevin Pollack! Rock! Can you say NPC? Har har.

"Rool, you fool!"
"I stole the baby! I sole the baby!"
"Oh! Your eyes... so beautiful... your whiskers..."
"BEER!"

Best. Brownie. EVAR.

I never knew that brownie was Kevin Pollack. Of course, I was much younger at the time and never knew who Kevin Pollack was. Hmmm, gonna have to watch that movie again...

I don't have either book with me, but I'm pretty sure that they're in either the Monster Manual II or the Fiend Folio, leaning towards the former. But if I remember correctly, they don't get their own entry, so you might want to check in the CR listings for them. They might be under "Sprite".
