Vaalingrade
Legend
How did we get here? What happened to us?
And you may ask yourself...How did we get here? What happened to us?
From what I understand Lanefan's group plays a multi-party generational style campaign with lots of continuity, lots of tables and record-keeping, trying to flesh out and immerse themselves within their homebrew setting. It is a particular old school style of playing that has remarkably survived up until now. I for one do not play that way, but do count our hobby rich for having such diverse and interesting groups that exist. How did we get here? What happened to us?
One day, we too Vaalingrade will be playing some sort of old-school style of roleplaying and be ridiculed for using DMs, dice and grids.None of those words makes any of the last page okay or lets me unsee it. I'm going to need fire and lots of it.
I don't think it's an old school issue at all, but I do find it remarkable that that style of play has survived past a day.It is a particular old school style of playing that has remarkably survived up until now.
I'm not sure I follow, you think such style is modern?I don't think it's an old school issue at all, but I do find it remarkable that that style of play has survived past a day.
No, I think it's completely anomalous.I'm not sure I follow, you think such style is modern?
