WotC Summer 05 Product Lists

I'm wondering if "Champions of Ruin" might not be an Eberron book. Maybe detailing Cyre or the hobgoblin lands. It might also just refer to the general set-up of the world following the Last War.
That sounds pretty plausible to me.

Champions of Ruin is most likely the Realms sourcebook detailing it's ancient empires that are mostly gone the way of the dodo. Rich Baker has been talking about this book for weeks but he never said what it was called. :)

Ahhh, an Eberron screen. Was wondering when they'd get around to that.

Would have been nice if it had followed a little closer on the heels of the ECS, though. Coming out a year later is fairly annoying.

Oh, thought that was just going to be called Ancient Empires.

Quite plausible though. I doubt it's a monster-series book as others suggested, as it does not conform to the "pseudo-ancient-tome" naming convention.

The idea of an alignment series of books also sounds plausible. In that capacity, it would follow a similar naming convention to the racial series.

Really gotta wonder about the DMG II. How can it be both a sequel and part of a whole different series?

Saw this over at from Kolja Raven Liquette (www.wakinglands.com)

"The word is out, but I am still sworn to secrecy. The Wizard of the Coast book that I worked on as a freelancer, Weapons of Legacy, was recently announced by Amazon.com. Still, beyond the title, I am to keep the details of this harcover fuzzy or else suffer a painful psionic death at the mind of project boss, Bruce Cordell. So until Weapons of Legacy appears on the official Wizards catalogue, I am paragon of silence (in case it wasn't obvious)."

I like the stuff I find on his website, so I'm very interested in this, now.

I'd say the Explorer's Handbook will be an Eberron title, exploration is a big thing for that setting.

I hope not.

Well, there are some interesting sounding titles, but without more information... it's all just speculation.

But speculation is fun

Eh. It beats sitting around waiting some times.

In any event...

Champions of Ruin: Probably an Eberron book...but it could be the Demon/Devil book. We'll see.

Most of these just went up on the official Wizards product list for 2005.

Champions of Ruin - FR evil characters
Five Kingdoms and Explorer's book - Eberron
Maelstrom - sea and water

No mini stuff yet.
