And after reading that, the DMGII sounds very interesting. Maybe it will be the answer to many of the more recent complaints we've been having about 3e around here lately...of course, then again, maybe not! ;)

Anyone else think that the cover is a little reminiscent of the old 1st Edition Efreet cover?

Wow...

My fears about Wizards running out of steam have been dispelled in a big way.

The cover for Battlefield! Adventures is striking.

I'm particularly fond of the Champions of Ruin cover. Pretty cool looking.

Most of the releases look iffy to me, I'll have to learn more about them before I make any decisions. The following books look pretty cool though.

Codex Anathema
Sandstorm
Maelstrom
Races of Eberron
Champions of Ruin
Waterdeep: City of Splendours

Anyone else think that 29.99 is a bit much for a 160 page book?

It's how much Complete Warrior was (160 pages, $29.99).

However, given the diving American dollar... it might not be surprising.

Cheers!

Damn, I've been living in a world where Complete Warrior had 192 pages! The horror, the horror! ;)

2 + 4 = $24.95

Just saw Star Wars Miniatures Starter Game - for the Revenge of the Sith set here

Two exclusive miniatures: Supreme Commander Grevious and Obi- Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master, plus four additional miniatures with stat cards

2 Exclusives + 4 additional minis for $24.95.

Not for me. Way out of my budget!

I'm willing to bet the fold-out gameboard (as distinct from the 'battle grid' in the regular Starter set) is what's driving a lot of the price. This sounds like something designed to appeal to the board game market.

On a related note, Huge SW minis in August. :)

Complete Adventurer - Might as well get the last of the series.
Races of the Wild - Ditto
Dungeon Master's Guide II - Could be a gold mine or just a shaft, but sounds good.

I have no use for Eberron and I stopped buying Forgotten Realms material after Underdark. Three books in eight months is the least I've shelled out to WotC since 3.0 appeared on the shelves.

Champions of Ruin: - Module? Maybe a EVIL PC book?
W00T! I called it!

I'm looking forward to Battlefield, DMG II, Maestorm, Complete Adv, Races of Wild, Sandstorm and Codex...

Sigh, broke again...
