WotC web article index

Since I didn't start getting into D&D until mid-2005, I've been having to catch up slowly on all the free goodness on WotC's website, digging through the retired articles archives, etc. There's an awful lot of stuff there, spells, monsters, magic items, NPCs, etc, and I wonder if someone's ever put together an index or compendium of these things. It'd sure be useful in finding anything in particular...

Of course, this also raises the question of what is OGC on WotC's website. Anyone know? I know that CMG made some condensed/organized versions of things like the sample dragon hords.

A while back, I made a list of all of the monsters on WotC's website. It's categorized alphabetically, and by Challenge Rating. I still keep it up to date, so everything's on there that WotC has on the site so far. Enjoy! :)

Have you noticed at a certain point the goodies disappeared entirely and we have mostly crap articles now? (with a goodie to tease us every now and then) It's cause they got the silly idea that whatever can be published in a book doesn't belong on the site. Yet some of their fluff articles can belong in a book too, why aren't they gone? Why go dry of feats, spells, prestige classes, psionics, epic material, and monsters but not the rest? The people in charge of the web content have their heads up in the clouds too much

I think after dealing with less-than-average books, low page counts, and almost no errata for their book line that we deserve some free content on their site. :\

Alzrius -- thanks, that is a truly wonderful resource and must have been pretty time consuming! If only someone would index the other stuff (hint, hint ;)). I guess the likely PI nature of the stuff on the WotC website probably means it wouldn't be too smart to compile the actual stats, though, except for personal use.

Yeah, it does seem like the free content has been reduced lately. I don't think there's been a single FR article, for example, since the holidays, except for maybe a Waterdeep news.
