Would you buy D&D mini singles from WotC at a premium price?

Would you buy single D&D minis from WotC direct if they sold them at a higher price?

If WotC started selling singles of all their miniatures direct at a premium price like $3 each for a human-sized figure with no stat card, would you purchase them? Also, would you be interested in purchasing the miniatures raw in an unpainted state (this is totally forgetting the logistics of this as you wouldn't be able to bake on your own paint)?

At a premium price? No. I can get better-looking minis cheaper. This is, ultimately, why the secondary market doesn't solve anything with regards to randomly-packed DDMs. I can buy a few packs of each set, use most of what I get, and it's cost-effective. After five or six packs I start loading up on duplicates of figures I will never need more than one of, and I stop buying that set. Buying singles online I can sometimes get a handful of common figures for a reasonable price (after shipping), but it can still be damned inconvenient at times...

Paizo and other sell the individual miniatures at what counts as a premium price by your definition. So I'd guess the answer is that enough people are willing to do so. I've bought an ettercap that way, and am tempted to buy a behir.

Since I haven't bought any of the plastic mini's since the first starter boxed set, no.

I am doing just fine with my metal min's and Fiery Dragon counters sets. And a few other sources.

This poll is unusable. Where's the "No, thanks, I can get the same minis for 50 cents on eBay, and they come with D&D quick reference stats there" option? That would get lots of responses in no time

I think I'll open an edition wars thread now:
"Do you play D&D 3.5e?"

[] No, because I'm insecure about the size of my genitals
[] No, I'm too stupid to learn something new and keep playing the same old
[] No, I'm unworthy
[] No, In a world where dwarves can go and be wizards, my racist ideals are compromised

;) :p

I'm not voting as I don't really see a suitabel option, but if I did my answer would be a sort of qualified yes-maybe'ish sort of answer - my main concerns would be price, ie how much premium is charged and that this service have no effect on teh price of DDM randomised boosters - which I like.
