Would You Get A D&D Tattoo?

How much of a D&D fan are you? Not as much as this guy, I'll warrant! D&D fan Sean Whissen has gotten the D&D ampersand tattooed onto his forearm. Sean posted this to Twitter with the caption "Check out my new ink!"

Click on the image to jump to his Twitter post (under his Twitter name, @smob89). Has anybody else got a D&D tattoo?

The problem with tattoos is that symbols have a propensity to change meaning. I suppose cover-ups and removals are always possible for people like this who are brave enough to wear their hearts on their sleeves!
One of my tattoo artists once said that when people first start getting tattoos, they worry a ton over meaning, but once you've got a bunch of tattoos, you tend to be less precious about them.

I've had people ask me what the meaning is behind my snow leopard tattoo. They are almost always folks with no visible tattoos that I can tell.

My response? "No special meaning, I just like snow leopards."

I used to spend forever thinking about the deep meaning of each new tattoo. Now I still spend forever between tattoos because I can't decide which of the many planned ones to get next.

My brother in law is a talented Tattoo artist, both my sisters have received tatoos from him. But I just can't think of anything that I want on my body permanently. My older son is a talented artist with pen, pencil and charcoal. If he came up with something, I might consider it as celebration of when he graduates from college. I think it would have to be family related for me to go through with it.

My sister (the one married to the tattoo artist) had each of her boys draw some potential tattoos when they were young (early elementary school). Those ones she choose are simple, small, black line drawing of animals (a sea turtle and a fish), but I think they are among my favorite tattoos I've seen.
