Would you pay for cool features?

Well, would you?

i'd pay, but honestly i think i'd balk at $25. i'd probably pay in the $10 range, especially if it's a yearly thing. maybe $15, but that could be pushing the limit.

maybe you oughta do a poll on what people would be willing to pay...not that you should necessarily base your final decision off of it, but it might give you an idea on the range where a maximum amount of users might donate. i have a feeling it'd be in the $10 - $15 range.

I want to support the site, and this looks like the best way to do so. Frankly, I've gotten much more out of this site then most of the supplements I've bought. Wait, make that more than any supplement I've bought...

Frankly, I hate PayPal - I signed up for an account just long enough to donate to the cause 8 months ago, and closed it. Is there another way? I suppose not... I guess I'll just sign up again. :(

So does Paypal etc work outside of America?

I don't have a Credit Card (and am a semi-luddite who refuses to get one), might send cheques if the features were interesting to me (they aren't btw) but would donate something...

The Chairman is annoyed!

If it means I can actually get in the place again...abso-friggin-lutely!!!

Sheesh...

I know it's not Morrus' fault or anything, but when I can't get in the site at 9:00AM in the morning EST...I get all crusty!

YES!

If for no other reason than the fact that I turned away frm the comp for five minutes earlier today to reply to someone at the office, and then couldn't vote because I had been idle too long.

Yeah, I'll donate (like I did before) because this is the best place for d20 . The information/ideas I receive here alone is worth $15-$25 a year. Plus this place is just plain fun. It's worth it to me to keep it running smoothly.

I don't have a problem donating money to the boards, I did last time. But I have no real need of the features you are offering. If donations are required I will pitch-in without problem.

i see this as 2 different YES types posting:

1. Is in favor of paying some $$$ for the new features for their own use.

2. Wants to contribute monthly and so forth but does not want the features anyway.

This is a WIN/WIN either way. It's up to the user if they want to contribute as a SUBSCRIPTION or a DONATION. Either way morrus benefits in the long run as we all will as well..
