Write about a mythological creature, win a $25 ENWorld gift certificate

Actually, I was the one with the Black Shuck entry, just that I was bumbling about trying to set it up correctly on what was my second visit to your site, pretty much. I think I got it correctly now, including linking it to the Mythological Creatures page, cleaning it up, and adding a sub-heading to the bulleted text to make it a little clearer.

And I also remembered to log into wikidot.com before doing these changes, as well. ;)

Dangit, I've got to put it on the blog? That's what I get for hastening to get my entry in during the last few hours of a contest.

Yup, you have to do that as well.

Well, it's four and a half hours until midnight where I live, but I'm willing to let the local time of the contestants count - so there's still enough time for people living in the Americas to submit something...

So .... drum-roll, please ....

And the winner is .... ? ;)

P.S. I can see why there are only 2 contestants -- research material is hard to come by on the Internet for something like this. I tried finding stuff for a "Redcap" entry last night, and could only find copies of one paragraph cut and pasted from Wikipedia onto various sites. The researcher in my nature rebels at the thought of relying on only one source ....

Oh, there are quite a few places if you know where to look.

Though Internet references are only preferred. You can also use print references if you want.
