So I'm trying to build a 3rd level Wu Jen for a home campaign, and I'm really struggling. I'm not looking for anything broken, particularly, but competent would be nice. It's a 28 point buy, and I'm probably looking at a Grey Elf, but it needn't be.
Has anyone got any experience of playing these at all, and could offer any advice? I'm struggling, the spell list seems fairly unexciting.
I'm wondering about taking Still Spell (Magic Missile), Still Spell as the bonus at 1st, and next level picking up a fighter or barbarian level and kicking out in a boot load of armour on the Fighter/Wiz route. Then all my 1st level spells are Magic Missile, and all my 2nd level spells Stilled 1st level spells.
Not sure if I like that that much, so if anyone's got any nice ideas for the class (as per CA) I'd be keen to hear them.
