(YBA) Kalath in the Sewers of the City of the Bard

With one final attack, Kalath slays the crocodile.

Kalath recieves 10 hits worth of experience from the crocodile.

With the crocodile out of his way now, Kalath continues south.

 

[Wicht]

[chocolate]Soon the light at the end of the tunnel reveals itself to be the opening Kalath first came in and Kalath can see the intersection with the tunnels going west and east.[/color]

Kalath heads east.

 

[Wicht]

A long section of sewer tunnel eventually ends at a "T" going north and south.

 

[graydoom]

Kalath takes the south tunnel.

 

[Wicht]

As Kalath works his way southward through the tunnel he becomes aware of a great and cold presence. It is hard for him to determine what is causing this unease but he feels as if he is being watched. The further south he walks the stronger the feeling becomes.

Kalath shakes off the chill and continues south.

 

[Wicht]

Finally Kalath reaches the southern end of the tunnel. The air is oppressive here and as he looks northward he sees that he has not really come as far as he thought for he can still make out the westward tunnel entrance.

At the southern end of the sewer tunnel is a small set of steps leading up to an iron door. The door has no handle or latches or visible hinges. Painted on the door is what appears to be a black octopus with bat wings.
