You continue on down the straight corridor. After a short distance, a pair of double doors loom before you. Carved of gray stone, inlaid with green bronze, the doors bear the insignia of a strangely twisted tree. The doors stand somewhat ajar, so that you could easily squeeze between them. Their hinges seem so thoroughly rusted that you doubt that they could be fully opened or fully closed.

Hushed silence surrounds you as you enter a large round chamber, far larger than the small round rooms you've heretofore encountered. Your torch (which is burning low, makeshift as it is) barely illuminates the entirety of the place. Portals much like the one you entered through appear at the cardinal points of the room, with four sarcophagi spaced evenly between them. Niches in the walls contain what appear to be dead plants, while crumbling lamps (once bronze, now masses of green rust) hang from the ceiling. A sunken circular area at the center of the room holds a large sepulcher of stone and corroded bronze that has been carved and twisted into disturbing vegetative shapes.

Looking around the room. Lovecraft will first check the 3 other portals to see if they are open or can be opened. He keeps a wary eye out on the four sarcophagus though. Nothing good can come from them it's sure. But he wonders what is inside them. (damn his curious nature, LOL)

You creep into the great round chamber. You hear the sounds of your feet scuffing against the stones and your breath rasping in your lungs; all else is silent. Overhead, the domed ceiling bears strange runic inscriptions in several languages you only dimly recognize. Of the remaining portals, the one to your left appears to be closed, while those across the chamber and to your right stand ajar.

"Very anicent, very scary, very strange." mumbles Lovecraft. "I must be in heaven!" A large contented smile blooms across his face. "I just love creepy old places like this."
He moves across the chamber to look more closely at the four sarcophagus' in the center of the room. "I wonder who was buried here. Someone who was very important to say the least."
Lovecraft will examine the sarcophagus that was across from the door that he entered by.

(To clarify: the sarcophagi are not at the center of the room, nor are they across from the doorways. The doorways are evenly spaced around the rperimeter of the room, while each sarcophagus is against the wall halfway between two doors.)

The sarcophagus bears a brief inscription in ancient Cathayan, much like the other sarcophagi you've desecrated in this tomb.
