Heading down the main steps, Sharlea smiles as the double alarm rings anounchiing her presence again in the Lair. If she runs into no opposition, she will head straight north to the stairs leading down to the next level.
As before Sharlea's entry into the lair is trumpeted by the alarm. There are no torches burning all throughout the first level and Sharlea is forced to create her own light. All is as silent as the grave.
Eventually Sharlea reaches the northern stairs down.
Going down the stairs, Sharlea fails to see a trip wire and though she dies not trip, the string breaks and a bell rings somewhere near bye.
The first room on the second leveled is empty, as is the short hall past it. The ripped doors have not been repaired. In the distance, Sharlea hears the sounds of barked orders, sounding much like military excercises are going on.
The door out of the hall opens and Sharlea enters the square bricked room beyond. It is empty.
There do not appear to be any traps on this side of the door. The sounds seem to be mostly coming from the south and all seems quite through the western door.
It is completely dark on the other side of the door and with Sharlea's light on this side it is impossible for her to see what is past the door through the thin crack.
Any torches such as I sold Kalath which add +1 to damage of a location attack cost 3 yen (lava lamps, hellfire torches, etc.)
Sharlea looks beyond the door and sees a room that is identical to the one she is in. It is 20 x 20 feet and brick with 4 doors, one on each wall. Like the room she is in now, all four doors look identical. There are torches on the wall, unlit.
