yet another spell conversion question!

is there a 3E version for summon shadow? if not, what would make a good substitute? i specifically need to have a spell/effect that summons undead shadows.

Create undead (Clr 6, Death 6, Evil 6) can be used to create ghouls, shadows, ghasts, wights and wraiths.

hmm, i guess that might work, but it might be kind of redundant. i'm converting an undead wolf from 2E, and part of the creation of this particular undead, then casting summon shadow to summon a shadow (not too obvious?) then basically rip it to pieces and infuse it with the wolves to give them unlife. so, creating an undead to destroy it and create another undead? i guess i could go that route, but i'd like a better option first.

hmm... it's got potential, but i'd prefer an OGC source (is it?)

i might just have to use that, or come up with another way to do it.
