Yi Gi Oh....addictive for adults?

For me it s a show that if I am just channel surfing I will stop on it for awhile, but I wouldn't tune in everyday nor pay to see the movie -theater or rental.

I am still warped by the great cartoon's of the '80s. :p

I've seen some of those "great cartoons of the 80s" recently, with my kids. I'm painfully aware that they weren't nearly as great as I remember them. :(

Huh. Yu-gi-oh is just about the most boring, and one of the ugliest anime shows no TV these days. Even my 8-yo son, who really likes the card game, can't motivate himself to watch an entire episode. And [/i]I'm[/i] more entertained by the Pokemon show.

Not to say that I'm entertained by the Pokemon show...

Yugi's other personality had a nice sence of olde time justice in the manga / comics. not sure if that is even in the Uncut anime.

On pokemon[ey]

Brock[no clue on japanese name] Is quite amusing, even in the toned down american dub. James is good for a laugh in the bugs bunny crossdresser way. The middle aged doctor with the lolita complex for misty was humorous too...

True on most... Except for the Real ghostbusters episodes in the early seasons. very few stinkers with lots of kewlness that tends to be kept off the air nowadays.

There's a reason Real Ghostbusters still rocks even after all this time.

J. Michael Straczynski. :D

Uh, I was thinking more along the lines of Spiderman and His Amazing Friends, Flash Gordon or Thundarr the Barbarian. That kind of stuff. Speed Frikkin Racer.

Or Scooby-doo, of course, but those probably are as good as you remember them. ;) Besides, there's new ones of those too.
