Yo, Yo! GI JOE!

Hawk
Duke
Snake Eyes
Scarlett
Stalker
Flint
Lady Jaye
Clutch
Rock n' Roll

Cobra Commander
Destro
Baroness
Storm Shadow
Dr. Mindbender
Zartan
Major Bludd
Zarana

My list isn't too different: On the Joe side I'd get rid of Rock N' Roll and but in Road Block. I'd love to hear some rhymes. I'd love to see Wild Bill, Tunnel Rat, and Lowlight, but they're probably not necessary. On the Cobra side; Do we need Zarana when we've got Zartan? I'd like to throw Fire Fly in there, but maybe that's too many masked men. What about Tomax and Xamot. I think they'd fit in nicely.

In retrospect I'd probably swap out Rock 'n Roll for Roadblock but I've heard somewhere there are some licensing issues with Roadblock (this could just be speculation though). I put in Zarana because I am more of a fan of the Larry Hama era of GI JOE comics than the cartoon itself and she plays a big role in the comics. That and I thought the baddies could use another female character. Tomax and Xamot are good choices too though; I had actually forgotten all about them.

Stratham have charisma after the second D&D film and Crank?

:p

Um, Statham wasn't in the second D&D movie.

And yes, Jason Statham has real charisma, and real star potential. He just hasn't been given the opportunity. So far, every movie he's starred in since Lock, Stock and Snatch has been interesting/exciting, but far too heavily flawed to really push him over the top.

What would you say if Mark Wahlberg, aka Marky Mark, might be cast as Duke of the GI JOE live-action film?

What would you also say that not many international audience may not appeal to this so producer is considering adding an Alex Mann, aka Action Man (yes, from that CG animation series) to the cast?
I would prefer Donnie Wahlberg for the part of Duke. I think Mark Wahlberg would be better as Hawk or Flint.

I don't think it makes much sense to mix GI Joe and Action Man. :\

Edit: I'd also add Gung Ho to the list of iconic characters that should be in the movie.

OH MY! How could I forget Gung Ho??? And what about Shipwreck. I never liked the Navy, but for some reason Shipwreck was always one of my favorites.
