All I have to say is... "and knowing is half the battle" should be inserted with subtlety and skill. I'm not confident that Hollywood can do it.

Well I'd be fine with less ninjas; they only really need two IMO, one from each side-Mr Black and Mr White.
Having had years of Ninja Snake Eyes (Make it stop! Make it STOP!), I think I'd be happier with one less Ninja. Leave Storm Shadow and make Snake Eyes the uber-commando again. The market is GLUTTED with Ninja Snake Eyes.

Actually, amusingly enough I was just about to respond to cignus's post stating I'd rather see the commando-Snake Eyes than the ninja-Snake Eyes (despite how I worded it before). I'd like to seem him as the dedicated martial-artist of the team (along with Scarlet), but I'd also like to see him ditch the katana for an uzi and a spike-knuckled trench knife. But yes, Storm Shadow should remain fully ninja-tastic.

*Shrugs*

Where else can they do it without Hollwood-based handprints on it? Hasbro owns the IP, and they're US-based (yeah, like GI JOE would originate from Iran).

In the first few issues, Snake Eyes was presented as, basically, a sneaky and rather brutally violent person, and not necessarily as a ninja.

I have utterly no problem with them downplaying his ninja-ness. Because, yeah, I got tired of ninjas, too.
