Anyone know a player that seems to strive at getting killed in the stupiedest manners possible?

Yeah, although he doesn't even seem to be trying. He just goes through characters. He is on his 5th character now in my CotSQ campaign, and I've lost track in the other one, but the number is at least as high. I don't believe anyone else has died more than twice in either game, including raise dead spells. This isn't a recent trend, either. His characters have had fairly short life spans going back five years now, when I first moved to this area. For all I know, he's been going out of his way to get killed since long before that.

I'm really worried about this kid. He just signed up for the Army, lord help him, and I advised him to make sure he got a non-combat job. I told him, "If they do send you into combat, just think about what happens to all your characters and don't pull any stupid stunts."

I am reminded of Mars Attacks. That sort of thing?

No, its not that. I'm pretty sure this kid has a good brain, he's just not engaging it.
