Your best and worst book picks

Well, I'll stick to D20 books here, as anything else would be silly ;)

Most use would be Arcana Unearthed, followed by The Book of the Righteous. Both books served as the bases for whole campaigns! :)

Least used would be Unearthed Arcana (felt pressured into buying it, little of any use that I didn't already have, sold it at cover price to a kid who was all excited about it) and a couple of adventures that I don't even remember the titles of that I got as part of a lot-buy on eBay and gave away to the same kid as sort of a lagniappe... ;)

I'm actually very very careful about what I buy. I don't exactly have a boat load of free cash.

I'd say Most Used: D20Modern, Grim Tales, Core 3 D&D books

Least Used: Relics and Rituals. I bought this right when it came out back in 3.0 and I'm sad that I never got to use ANYTHING out of it before it became moot point. :(

I get all kinds of use out of the oddest things. I have the Black Company Campaign Setting book, but I've not run a Black Company game. I used the Mastercrafting rules in three different games (homebrew GT fantasy, StarWars, modern), the magic system in one. Get alot of work out of my various d20Modern books, etc etc.

Best: Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, followed by Complete Arcane and Complete Adventurer
Worst: Psionics Handbook and as a close second, Epic Level Handbook

Best: Delta Green: Countdown - it's theorethically written for Modern Horror, but it is so brilliant that I had no problem at all using parts of it for my fantasy games... Apart from this, GURPS Horror 4e, Suppressed Transmission 1 & 2, and a whole lot of other GURPS books.

Least: Well, I guess all those FFG books that I bought for $5 a piece last year and still haven't gotten around to read. But that's not the fault of the books, but merely a reflection of the fact that I buy far more books than I can actually read...

Most Used: Manual of the Planes (or Arcana Evolved or Eberron - I've used the latter two less, but only because I've had them less time)
Least Used: Planescape Campaign Setting... why? Because I bought it from RPGNow, and its hideous pale text makes it impossible to read

Most Used: Ultra-Modern Firearms by Green Roning and Blood & Guts 2 series by RPGObject (Both hit the table and see reference at the same time.

Least Used: Creature Collection I & II. (Why? I grabbed the originals. Bad move.)

Regardless of what I'm running, the book that I use most beyond the core three is Unearthed Arcana. Honestly, if the house were on fire, those four books and the Wilderlands boxed set are the ones I'd grab.

Least used? I have so many I've never used that I can't answer this. But like Crothian said, just because I haven't used them so far, doesn't mean I never will.

One book that I know I'll never use though is Deities & Demigods. I'd sell it, but no one will buy it.
