What race is your 5E character or planned character or characters?

Half-elf: rolled a 16 and two 15s, and made him a Noble Sorcerer with a tragic family story.

Exclusively DMing at the moment. If/when I get a chance to play, I'm probably going to go human (variant) for my first character.

In the game I'm playing in, I have a human (variant) Cleric/Wizard Sage, using standard array (I actually would have preferred to roll, then to point buy, but everyone was to use SA).

I have made several characters as an exercise for learning the game, and I really like pretty much all of the standard races that I have tried out so far: variant humans, mountain dwarves, high elves, and stout halflings. That said, I am playing a variant human cleric of Helm, so that is how I voted.

I favor half-elves and human (standard) for my characters.

If I were playing, I'd want to be using a Vryloka (home-brew adaption of a 4e race by Remathilis on ENWorld) Warlock.
