Depends on the character. My current character is an up front fighter type, but only because he's too stupid to do anything else.

All of the above, sometimes all at the same time. Players seem to hate "hit and run" with "healers" the most.

I'm melee focused, but I tend to try and make it interesting rather than just falling back on bashing the enemy. My approach to combat has as much to do with wrestling as it does tactics

I used to be primarily a melee-focused front-line fighter. I always played fighters highly skilled in the use of one or more swords.

But in recent years, I've been more into playing sneaky fighter-rogues, who rely more on guerrilla tactics.

Tactical mobility and precision strikes... it's like ice cream and hot apple pie!

And nothing says that like a good Barbarian/Rogue.

I picked guerilla. My mindset works well with Rangers and martial-oriented Rogues.
