DC Heroes
Paranoia
Dangerous Journeys
Marvel Saga
ElfQuest
7th Sea
Alternity
Mutants & Masterminds

My dnd pedigree (leaving out a LOT of other rpgs):

1st gaming experience- 1e (myself as the only player with one dm; mutliple pcs; various modules- T1, C2, C1, S3, etc.)
1st rpg owned, read and played- the "Red Box" Basic dnd set
Next, concurrent with both 'Red Box' and next 1e block- 1e heavily influenced by/fused with Arduin
Concurrent with Arduin fusion games- 1e, at first by the book and then increasingly tweaked over the years until...
1989- 2nd Edition arrives. I continue to tweak the system until....
2000- 3rd Edition arrives. I tweak minor areas of the rules but mostly homebrew until...
2003- 3.5 arrives. I immediately switch over. Minor tweaking ensues.

I played my first game of D&D in 1994. I'm not sure what version it was as it was run by my 8th grade home room teacher (looking back that was pretty cool of her to do). I do remember that the character sheet had boxes to put your thief skill percentages in.

In 1996 I got into my first regular D&D group. I'm not certain of the exact edition but I think it was 2E AD&D.

I stopped playing in 1998 when I was doing year 12 (final year of high school) and then played some other non-D&D games for a year or so.

I played a little bit of 3E when it came out but didn't have a regular group.

I started a 3.5E game towards the end of 2005. This went on a brief hiatus when the group broke up at the start of 2006. I restarted the campaign with all but 1 new player in April last year and we have been playing regularly since then.

Here's mine:

1999: AD&D
late-2000: D&D 3e (once we clued in to the fact that there was a new edition out)
switched over to 3.5e immediatly after it came out.

Own by haven't played:

True20
Iron Heroes
Arcana Unearthed

cheers,

I'm not sure of the timeline. I started around '84 but I actually had the "Official Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Coloring Book" for about a year or two before I started playing and that is what piqued my interest. So my pedigree would look something like this:

1e
BECMI
1e
2e
1e
3.x
1e

Many other non D&D such as V&V, FASERIP Marvel Superheroes, Star Frontiers, Indiana Jones, Gang Busters, Boot Hill, Gamma World, Paladium Fantasy, Robotech, Top Secret (1st Edition), GURPS, Toon, Champions, DC Heroes, and some others.

Nothing ever really seemed to stick with me like 1e did. I'll play just about anything; but as I've said before, 1e is my prefered edition.
