Your favorite alternate D&D magic system?

Elements of Magic: Revised (slightly modified) gets my vote. The D&D Psionics system is second and what I use when I play in a "standard" game.

Arcana Unearthed/Arcana Evolved. I love the flexibility it offers, as well as the laden spells, variable spells (most spells have a higher and lower version that you can cast if you've 'readied' the regular version), and the templates.


Can't believe it wasn't an option, tbh.

I think it has more write-in votes than almost all the official entries at this point.
