Your Favorite Dungeon Villains and Locations?

For location, the best I think is the Monastary, specificly the trap/test rooms, from the adventure The Winding Way from issue 117. Followed closely by Maure Castle from 112.

Spoiler Alert for Age of Worms and other adventures:
Villain is harder. It would be easy to go with a big hitter like Kyuss, any Demon Lord, or some one like Flame or the Lich-Queen (That issue was my favorite Dungeon, by the way). Or I could put down someone obvious like Eli, Vanthus, Iggwilv, or Smenk.
But I think, over all, the best villian would be
Lashonna. A betrayer is a big plus, dragon is a plus, lots of interaction from begining to end is a plus, vampire is a plus, and being really, really evil is a plus.

So that's my vote:
Lashonna
for the +++++win.

Places: Isle of Dread, Maure Castle, the Dungeon of the Fire Opal monastery (it is from the 1E DMG after all), Cauldron, Flame's volcano, the fairs from Challenge of Champions ...

Villains: Flame, the beholder from Shackled City, ...

Definitely some great suggestions here.

I happen to agree with quite a few.

The Shifting Library in Ex-Libris is one I'm currently converting for use in my Ptolus campaign.

Castle Ulmade - it was the art that made it work for me, wasn't that Stephen Danielle?

Brother Selmo from Priestly Secrets in issue #71 was seen by the players in my old 2E into 3E campaign as a pathetic boob, rather a sad figure and one they hoped would take care of the young orphan girl at the end of that adventure. They and I loved playing that one.

From Mad Gods Key which was one of the two adventures I used to open my current Ptolus campaign (I run two groups) - Tomb of Blood Everflowing ranks high on the cool places for fighting list. Nearly had a TPK in the pool. Stressed the party to its limits.

Question, what issue is the adventure "Chimes At Midnight in?

Demodragon.

Orcus

Archimodius(sp)

Kyuss

Dragotha

Lashanna.

The Wells of Darkness

Thanatos

Occiputus(sp)

Maure Castle (all levels)

Istvan(sp)

Nick, as long as you're here, did the "sequel" get published in Dungeon yet?

I am not a Dungeon subscriber.

Hey TarionzCousin!

It is getting published! In the final issue of Dungeon (#150). Comes out in two months or so I believe. Love to hear what you think of it!

Nick

Villain: I personally liked whats his but, the dude with the hair and the eyes..yea him....Grallak Kur the grimlock cleric from Three Faces of Evil. A close runner up is the dragon VESICANT from issue #16

Location: My favorite location for Dungeon has to be the place with the rocks and the undergound part..yea..that place.... Ruins of Noel Daer - Issue #13

My favorite scenario btw, was Murder of Maury Miller. It was the first time I ever got my players' skins to crawl without actually having a deadly encounter. The whole anticipation and build up was perfect. (Issue #57)

Sadly I no longer will have to update my complete dungeon index.... http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=186857

I'm looking forward to it, Nick! I've heard that Chimes was supposed to be the first of a trilogy... do you have any plans to get the third one out somehow?

Mr. Logue's answer regarding the third adventure in the trilogy can be found here: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=716846&page=3

Short answer: he would like to, somehow, if WotC would publish it.
