Maure Castle of course. And both from issue 94, the Spiral of Mansezzine (the mind flayer prison), and Nahkti (the Nerull cultist leader Mummy).

Oh, and Evard! (from 107)

My list says it's issue #19.
That could be, at one point I had every issue, lost most to a fire. It was a cool location because the whole guild was based around a deck of many things. It might even be in the same issue as the hawk wizard. I'll have to check when I get home.

My favorite location is the wild west of "Fortune Favors the Dead" by Lance Hawvermale from around issue 84, 87, somewhere in there. Also Flame's diamond fortress, the ruins of Nol-Daer, and the magic forest creatures and characters from "Old Man Katan's Incredible, Edible, Dancing Mushroom Band." At least that's what I think it was called.

Favorite villain is harder. Hm. The fiends (both literal and figurative) from Chris Perkins's "Umbra" come to mind. You know, thinking about this makes me realize that I tended always to use Dungeon for settings and mooks while the bosses were recurring villains from our ongoing campaign, not the bosses from the Dungeon adventures as written.

I can't believe I forgot this one. Issue #97: Heart of the Iron God. A 200 foot tall iron machine which the heroes much board and stop before it destroys the costal towns. A great setting for a true adventure.

And now that I think about it, that would work great for Eberron. Change the clockwork machine to a giant warforged made for the last war, who's intellect is being repressed, as it is in the original. That wouldn't be bad. Hum. :]

Yep, that was it. House of Cards, page 38 issue #19. That was a great setting. Nothing like having to pick your way through a series of doors based on the Deck of Many Things to get a new out look on life :)

I can't see to find the issue I was looking for with that wizard in it. It had to be before #30 (I think the cover had Sladdi on it in a earth tone color picture), you had to climb a mountian to get to this wizards keep and deal with his henchmen, tough, and his Sladdi pets, really tough, and then try and talk the wizard into not draining the life out of everyone in a 100 mile radius. That was a great adventure and a great villian, I thought.

But I think, over all, the best villian would be Lashonna. A betrayer is a big plus, dragon is a plus, lots of interaction from begining to end is a plus, vampire is a plus, and being really, really evil is a plus.

So that's my vote: Lashonna for the +++++win.

&%^@$%.....I didn't really think about spoilers in this thread but I guess I should have known better. At least my group had sneaking suspicions all along.

Locales: Castle Maure and the deeper vaults.

Empire of the Ghouls-the White Kingdom

Fedifensor

Bad guys: 7 headed construct from the Maure vault
