Your Favorite Holiday Goodies!

I *love* holiday goodies! In particular, I love the Oreos with the orange filling for Halloween, mint M&M's at Christmas, and Peeps at Easter.

Goodies of the home-made variety that really float my boat are orange and green popcorn balls at Halloween, apple cider at Christmas, and pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving!

What are your favorite holiday foods?

For halloween I love candy corns. Absolutely love them.

At Christmas time I enjoy gingerbread houses!

At easter the chocolate easter bunnies with vanilla stuffed frosting! Yum.

I haven't built a gingerbread house in a long time. That'll have to go on my "to-do" list for the holiday season this year.

I'm a big fan of baked goods. Streudel, cookies, whatever. But I'm a real sucker for pie. Any kind of pie. Fruit pie, cream pie, pumpkin, apple, chocolate, banana, lime, berry, I love 'em all.

Oh I agree totally. I had some apple pie this weekend that actually had a whole baked apple in every slice. It was AWESOME.

I have these moments when I feel all domestic and I'm like "I'm totally going to make fudge." But then I start the project and ruin it. I can cook quite well, but baking/making holiday goodies is just a little out of my culinary range.
