Zombie Hunt (Bront Judging) [Concluded]

Things remaining to do:

1) Any further preperations?
2) Who is going to go get the Zombie, and how?
3) Who is going to be assigned to each of the other tasks?

Also, feel free to chime in with anything I'm missing.

"We can have two people hiding around the sides of the barn, and when the beast goes into the barn, they can run from the sides and drop the net. That's probably the least dangerous. Would any of you fine farmers volunteer for this task? You should be swift of foot, and stout of heart." Aidan looks at the farmers.

After he gets a response from them, he says to his remaining two companions, "If Balnibar is taking the rope, that leaves you and I to get the beast's attention and lure it into the barn, Meksoor. Do you have any thoughts on how we do that?"

Meksoor thought for a moment. "I suppose that lighting the fields in front of the barn on fire could draw its attention." She saw the reaction of the farmers to that suggestion, and reconsidered. "We should remove any other distractions from the field beforehand to present ourselves to it as the prime targets for it to select. Given what we've been told, I'm confident that we can best its speed; we'll just need to make sure we can keep it interested in us."

You make arrangements to have the farmers (except your four volunteers) hide, so that you might keep its attention on you.

Oops, forgot to check ENworld from school while my DSL was out. My apologies. Can we work Shearan showing back up in?

Heck, he hasn't really been officially written out that long... *Poof* he's back. Everyone should just disregard the bit where I said he'd left.

I'm still waiting for more info. Here's what I know:

1) Balnibar is going to trigger the trap.
2) Two of the peasant volunteers will drop the net and secure it into place.
3) Aidan and Meksoor will be fetching the beast.

What else I need to know to get this going:

1) How exactly do Aidan and Meksoor intend to fetch the beast?
2) What is Shearan doing, now that he's back?
3) What do you want your two other volunteers to be doing?
4) Any further preperations? As yet the barn is not rigged to collapse, nor are any arrow slits cut into the barn, both of which were mentioned as possibilities.

Shearan will work on the arrow slits if we aren't collapsing the barn, or help on rigging it if we are collapsing it.

Uh, whats the backup plan if we can't get it in the barn?

"Well, the barn seems to be our best shot for now. If we can't lure it in there, then we'll need to come up with a new plan."

OOC:

I've got nothing more at this point. Balnibar will just help and oversee the remodeling of the barn. The barn does not need to be rigged to collapse, just getting the beast in there, netting it, and then dropping the stones on it should be enough.

As for the volunteer farmers, slinging stones then retreating through the barn should be enough.
