Lookspring - Lookspring fires two shots the first hitting the same javelin thrower as last round. The creature croaks in what must be an expression of pain and drops to the ground placing its forehead and webbed hands on the ground before the group of adventurers. The last standing does the same.

KT1- on the ground..

Rowan-

KT2- on the ground avoiding contact.

Phoenix- throws her mindblade but misses

KT4- on the ground...

Rowan tries to communicate. "Down! Drop your weapons!"
he tries common, goblin & orc, the only languages he knows. He readies an action to strike if they get up.

Phoenix concentrates for a moment to rematerialize her mindblade and then waits to see what happens with the creatures while keeping her guard up and looking around quickly to make sure no others are coming from any other direction.

The creatures do not seem to understand what you are saying and reamain on the ground.

Lookspring moves forward towards the nearest one on the ground. He says, "We must be using a language they understand. They are speaking no civilized tongue, so we must show dominance, like over an animal." before he places a hairy foot on the neck of the creature prostrated in front of him. Using the tip of his bow he moves to flick the creatures weapons away. Looking up at the other fishfolk he motions down at the creature he disarmed to indicate they should do the same.

"They attack us without provocation. And now we can't speak to them. We just want to get into town and find a place to rest and clean up. I don't think they can help us with that. So we should keep moving. Let's kill them or let them go. Maybe we should kill one and let the other go." ponders Rowan.

 

[SelcSilverhand]

"You are speaking correctly, let us kill the leader to leave them in disarray in case we must be passing by this way again." He examines the remaining fishmen and tries to determine which one left alive might be the strongest. Once he's made his choice, he will signal Rowan and put some arrows into it.

The others scatter their weapons quickly, understanding Looksprings gesture.

Deciding on one Lookspring puts 2 arrows into it and the others scuttle away a bit in fright but not too far to draw attention to them individually from the killer cat man. They make no move otherwise.

Rowan does not feel meriful. He'll deliver a coup-de-grace into the one Lookspring has chosen.

"OK. Now let's go." Rowan will take the rear as they retreat. He'll shake his guisarme at the fishmen and tell them they'd better not mess with them again. They won't understand the words, but perhaps the tone will convey.

Rowan would like to find a place to rest & bathe in the city.
