    If you are worried about the mummy, give them some clues that they need oil or flaming weapons to face it. The challenge of any encounter depends on the circumstances.     I have found that simply capping PA in the same way as combat expertise, so no more than +/- 5, is a simple and effective way to restrict the power of the feat. I even allow an improved PA feat that allows unlimited modifiers, as I think that for 2 feats that is not unreasonable. Cheers...

    Massive Damage

    I use (Con+lvl)*2 for massive damage saves, and additionally have attacks which do more than Con+Lvl but less than massive damage deal a d4 ability damage to a random ability score. I find Con+Lvl works quite well. Cheers, quetzyl

    This is a 19th level psion ability. By 19th level, there are numerous ways high level spellcasters can be practically indestructable. This power cancels all buff spells, uses up a lot of power points and prevents him doing anything for half the time. I just don't see this tactic being a problem...
