Which reminds me - on the tidbits front, Erik also mentioned that someones comment about "mirror universe Greyhawk" in the Star Trek sense would seem ironic in those 10 months time; in the spirit of wild speculation, that makes me think either: a) Land Beyond the Magic Mirror or b) More fuel...

Oh, I know, the link was that most people think that Eri*k*'s project will be in the "Expedition To (x)" series, and that a big classic dungeon had been leaked already, fuelling speculation that the Mona Project (TM) could be something along the same lines.

Not as far as I *BUMP* know ... Over on Paizo I believe Erik suggested it may be 10 months or so before we officially know, barring a accidental leak a la Undermountain.

I was singling out psionic items just in case there was some exception printed somewhere that *didn't* refer you back to said magic items table. In comparison, Boots of Skate, a 1st level power with a much lower duration, come in as 7000gp officially, which is more than our theoretical elfsight...

As I understand it, a "universal item" that granted a 1st level power (Elfsight, in this case) continuously would cost: Power Level (1) x Manifester Level (1) x 2,000 GP = 2,000 GP! Really? Are there some Psionic Item Creation rules I'm missing?

When I saw DemonWeb Pits I was so surprised not to see Erik Mona's name attached to it. Maybe Barrier Peaks?

The Savant base class from the Dragon Compendium has bonuses at aid another attempts IIRC; a lot of the class is about assisting others on skill checks etc ... Also, Kenku, who are ECL=0 in MM3 have a racial bonus to aid another and flanking (WARK~!)

Is there an established policy for divine spellcasters (or spontaneous ones, I suppose) gaining access to spells in other books (the Complete series for example)?

IIRC characters need to be about 5th/6th level before they can get off the material plane under their power - assuming this isn't a problem, what kind of resources do the players need to navigate the planes? For example, what do you need to wander around the plane of fire without getting...

I visited Houston about a month ago thanks to Theron, and I'd give my nod firstly to Midnight - great service, lots of stuff, nice atmosphere, and secondly to Nan's which had old schoolness oozing from every pore. Houston doesn't know how lucky it is :p
