I'll second the mention of Tact-tiles. They're just great. I picked up the set of 12 at Origins this year and there's no going back to the Chessex battlemat. Being dry erase they are a lot easier to clean up and the modularity makes them so much easier to use.

I stopped by my FLGS, in Fairborn, Ohio, on the way home from work and picked up Iron Heroes, Spycraft 2.0 and the Shackled City hardcover. Happy, but expensive, Day! :)

All the new rules being implemented for the coming year seem like good ones. Except for the shoot-out thing. I'd rather have tie games then a shoot-out. They are going to crack down on interference, but that usually only lasts for about the first month of the season.
