Leif's Homebrew 4E D&D Game, nee 'Leif's Keep on the Shadowfell' [IC #1] [FULL]

Keep on the Shadowfell Dungeon

Ghraere sees that there are some ladders leading down into the excavation below and also an earthen ramp that is positioned likewise. He tells the others this. (Meaning that it's been added to the map.) It is a ten foot drop from the floor of the room to the bottom of the excavation. Ghraere also sees that the rubble-strewn area in the northwest of the room is impassable, for whatever that's worth.

The goblins raise their crossbows and fire: AZ21 firing at Tarrk 1d20+9=23, 1d8+4=8, and BC24 and BE19 both firing at Basher7 1d20+9=25, 1d8+4=11, 1d20+9=13, 1d8+4=11. Both are hit once each, Tarrk for 8hp dam and Basher7 for 11hp dam. When BE19 misses with his attack, he immediately falls prone thanks to Aimhirghins devious Bard attack last round.

As soon as they have fired, the goblins move and the drakes also move toward the party, one of them being close enough to run up the ramp in one move action and bite at Ghraere, but it misses: 1d20++6=12, 1d10+3=4.

Mowgli, your hit is logged in post #965, with the opponent's status, but you guys don't need to worry about it. I gotcha covered.

Thanks for the reminder about the falling prone. previous post edited accordingly.

OOC for WD:
Actually, Dad, you are ten feet above that drake, to you cant attack him unless you go down the ramp or jump into the 10' deep hole. (Or use a missile weapon.) Go ahead and change your action if you wish.

Map Clarification for All:
The areas inside the dashed boxes are the original floor of the room. All of the other areas have been excavated to a depth of ten feet below the floor. The ladders/ramps leading down to the excavation area are marked on the map.

The Warforged brings his Craghammer (1d20+7=26) down on the head of the Drake before him with a crunch (1d10.minroll(3)+7=11) of steel on skull and marking the beast.

[sblock=actions]
Crushing Surge Fighter Attack 1
The feel of your weapon crunching against the enemy puts your heart back in the fight.
At-Will ✦ Invigorating*, Martial, Weapon
Standard Action Melee weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage.
Increase damage to 2[W] + Strength modifier at 21st level.

* Invigorating: If you are trained in the Endurance skill, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier when you hit with a power that has this keyword. No invigorating power grants temporary hit points more than once per turn, even if you hit more than once with the power or use more than one power with the invigorating keyword in a round.

Combat Challenge: In combat, it’s dangerous to ignore a fighter. Every time you attack an enemy, whether the attack hits or misses, you can choose to mark that target. The mark lasts until the end of your next turn. While a target is marked, it takes a –2 penalty to attack rolls for any attack that doesn’t include you as a target. A creature can be subject to only one mark at a time. A new mark supersedes a mark that was already in place.
In addition, whenever a marked enemy that is adjacent to you shifts or makes an attack that does not include you, you can make a melee basic attack against that enemy as an immediate interrupt.
