ooc: yes round 1 fort rolls were done previously

Round 2 Fort rolls needed for all 3 characters.

Order:
Rowan- At the end of round 1 his flurry of attacks, Rowan feels his leg pulled out from under him. His balance gone he hits the floor crushing roaches caught beneath him. The strong scent turns his stomach as he begins wrenching up anything he had eaten. He desperately grabs for his shield losing grip on his guisarme in the process.

Giant Roach #1 - 6 damage - attacks Rowan biting into his neck 13pts damage

Swarm - attacks Rowan for 1 pt of damage feeling the stinging bits everywhere.

Giant Roach #2 - attacks Lookspring biting down for 8pts damage and attempts to trip him.

Phoenix - Strengthening her resolve against the stench lashes out at LR#1 sending it wriggling about oozing stinking goo from its wound.

Large Roach #1 - 5pts damage

Large Roach #2 - attacks Phoenix does not penetrate her armor

Lookspring -

Large Roach #4 - attacks Rowan finding flesh for 4pts damage.

ooc: this was not a good round for Rowan. :heh: hopefully he can find his feet in round 3.

OOC: OK. I accidently rolled my checks twice. Taking the first one, Rowan gets a fort save of 1+9=10 & a trip defense of 6+3=9. So that sucked. So Rowan is prone & probably nauseated. It looks like a nauseated character can only take one move action per round. He'll leave his guisarme on the ground & ready his shield. This would increase his AC to 20, except that he gets a -4 on his AC when prone vs melee attacks. He's at HP 40.

Phoenix- F Elan Soulknife 5 (AC: 20, HP: 43/50, PP: 0/6)

Round 2: Fort save (1d20+3=21)

If this allows her to act, then Phoenix attacks Large Roach #1:
Mind Blade attack at Large Roach #1 (1d20+8=15, 1d8+4+1d8=11)
(6 points of that damage is from her psychic strike ability which doesn't affect mindless creatures. I didn't think cockroaches would be mindless so I added it in, but if they are just let me know and count the damage as 5 instead of 11 if that hits.

ooc: Lookspring needs to oppose a trip attempt (10 needed to stop the trip). Lookspring can make 1 move action if desired. If not on to round 3.

Round 3 Fort rolls needed for all 3 characters.

Order:
Rowan- nauseated he stands under the biting attacks of the Giant bugs as small roaches fall scattering to the floor.

Giant Roach #1 - 6 damage - attacks Rowan (AoO hits for 9pts damage) Normal attack misses as Rowan is able to shove the roach away with his shield.

Swarm - no attack (no one prone)

Giant Roach #2 - attacks Lookspring does not find a hold as Lookspring dodges.

Phoenix - Splits the bug spilling ooze.

Large Roach #2 -

Lookspring - Drives 2 arrows into Giant Roach #2.

Large Roach #4 - attacks Rowan (AoO misses) Finds only his shield as well.

Rowan

OOC: It would help if you told us what the fort save DC is. That way we would know if we should post full round actions after our roll, or just a move action. For round 3, Rowan starts out prone, covered with vomit and cockroaches, and armed with only a sheild. Does it get better? Survey says: 2+9=11, probably not. Despite taking AoOs, Rowan tries to stand.

R2
Lookspring sidesteps one of the roaches long legs as it attempts to sweep him off his feet. He staggers towards Rowan to make sure his back is protected.
ooc
Lookspring trip (1d20-1=12)

R3
Shaking off the effects of the foul stench for now, Lookspring draws his bow and lets two arrows fly at the second giant roach that attacked him. He glances over at Phoenix and Rowan to see how they are holding up.

ooc
Lookspring fort save r3 (1d20 6=26)
Lookspring rapid shot and point blank (1d20 8=22)
Lookspring rapid shot and point blank (1d20 8=23)
Lookspring damage (1d6 2=3, 1d6 2=7)

Phoenix- F Elan Soulknife 5 (AC: 20, HP: 43/50, PP: 0/6)

R3- Fort save (1d20+3=15)

If that's enough to let her attack, she strikes out at the large roach (#2) that is threatening her directly. Mindblade attack at large roach #2 (1d20+8=10, 1d8+4=8)

After her attack (or if she is only able to move due to nausea) she takes a 5' step towards Rowan/Lookspring.

"Keep fighting, boys. We aren't gonna be taken out by some bugs after surviving that cliff!" Phoenix says with a fierce look in her eye.

ooc: If all Giant Roaches get killed the DC will drop to the next highest the swarm 14 and if the swarm is eliminated and only Large Roaches left the DC will drop to 13.

Fort check DC for Giant Cockroaches = 15

Fort check DC for Large Cockroaches = 13

Fort check DC for Swarm of normal Cockroaches = 14

ooc: on to round 4. The Giant Roach that hit Rowan rolled a natural 1 to trip so he keeps his feet.

Round 4 Fort rolls needed for all 3 characters.

Order:
Rowan- seemingly bleeding from every part of his body drops his shield and draws his flail striking LR#4 sending ichhh flying as Phoenix thrusts her mindblade into the roach and is sprayed with gooo for her trouble.

Giant Roach #1 - 6 damage - attacks Rowan and misses completely.

Swarm - no attack (no one prone)

Giant Roach #2 - attacks Lookspring but does not even touch the vomitting Katarra.

Phoenix - thrusts her mindblade into the roach and is sprayed with gooo for her trouble. Her strike does not confirm the crit but is more than enough to take the remaining life from the bug.

Lookspring - The stench of ichor and the dust stirred up by the giant bugs overwhelms Lookspring once again. With his stomach already emptied, he retches up bile at Rowan's feet.

Large Roach #4 -
