Where do we go from here?
Robert Wallace looks over to Roughneck, then turns to his cameraman."Jerry, you want to shut the camera down." The red light goes off on the camera as Wallace addresses Roughneck, eyeing the approaching bugs and the injured woman, "Is there a plan here, or are you guys just clueless? I can handle putting the lady in the brace and board, I'm trained for it. What are you going to do about these robots?"
Elsewhere... The young paramedic looks at Pandora and Body and Soul, "What's the plan? We need to get to the mother soon."
Toad arrives at the brace and backboard, about 15 feet away from the staging area at the newly breached barricade.
Gun Monkey leaves the little girls with the paramedics, who immediately begin to take care of them.
OOC: Alright let's reset and try to get moving forward again. I'm heading out Sunday morning until Wednesday so I'd like to get some progress before then. feel free to post several actions ahead with contigencies.

Gun Monkey leaps back into action, jumping over obsticals and swinging into battle. His tail grabs his com unit and says "The girls are safe, any other civilians here? And someone save me one of these bugs if you can, pieces are fine."
Assuming he can find some, he picks a group of bugs far enough away and clear of civilians, and shoots a Firebomb at them. If he heats the big one, so much the better.
OOC: Firebomb - Blast:Fire, Burst +10 DC 20 Ref Bruise Area(50')
Otherwise, he will simply shoot at the closest bots with his normal shot.
OOC: Blast:Energy, Autofire +10 DC 25 Tough Bruise

Toad touches down next to the brace and back board, grabs them, gives a thumbs up to Pandora, and bounces back to the SUV. As he arrives at the SUV, he thinks to himself Now what the heck do I do? He gives a helpless stare towards Wallace and Roughneck. "A little help here?"
OOC: Medicine +1, 1 rank. If that's enough to have a clue how to do this, that keeps Toad occupied for a while, I suppose. Although if Wallace helps out, read on:
"Seems you're not all bad. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a few bots to go postal on." he says, before leaping off.
OOC: And postal he will go. Charge attack, preferably on an attacking bugbot far from the SUV to keep them occupied.

OOC: Same deal All-out/Power Attack...Charging to close distance.
If one manages to hurt him he might reconsider his tactics. If any allies, innocents get near he will likely try to close and interpose.

The team springs into action. Roughneck closes with the bots and destroys one of the bots. The others turn and fire on him. One manages to hit him staggering him, but he gets up. Gun Monkey fires from the staging area, but given the distance misses. Toad moves over half the distance to the scrap. The ambulance continues to pick its way through the abondoned vehicles. Roughneck attacks the nearest bugbot, taking it out. Toad reaches the scrap, but misses his target. Gun Monkey is able to hit a bot. The bot begins to smoke, throws off sparks and explodes. Roughneck is hit again. The other bot misses toad with its flame thrower. Roughneck takes a swing at the bot who hit him, but the bot is able to withstand the blow. Toad kicks his bug, causing it to shudder and go down. Gun Monkey misses once again, but is now close enough to engage in hand to bug combat next goaround. The last remaining bug misses Toad, the hero springing out of a handstand to evade the flame. The ambulance continues to move closer to the original fight and is now about halfway to the van where the mother of the rescued children is. Roughneck hits the last bug, the robot clumpling in a ruined mass of steel. The van makes it within fifty feet of the van with the mother before being stymied and having to stop.
OOC: That wraps up another encounter. I didn't use the area blast with OGM because he had a bad feeling using it given the child the heroes didn't see in the van. H4H- you might want to review the Daredevil vs. Shredder fight on Baron's thread. Just a hint. I will be returning Wednesday. I think we are at a good stopping point. Everyone have fun until then

OOC: All I remember from that was, despite DD using a Billy Club, he was still getting wounded by Shredder's "aura" though Kenson stated if someone was using a weapon they would probably not get hurt (depending on the descriptors)
Since it was mechanically inaccurate and not representitive of actual comics I pretty much didnt care what happened. But I will go back and take a look.
