Swatting furiously at the owl and boxed in by the two companions, the shield bearing Kobold is caught completely unaware by Brenwar's flurry of strikes. As the kobold reels from the last blow, blood seeps from the corner of it's mouth, and one arm seems to be dragging precariously low to the ground, barely able to support it's shield.

Hoping to force Mr. Bricks backward and stop him from pushing further into the room, one of the Pikers rushes screaming at Mr. Bricks. Unfortunately the diminutive thief is not fazed, and the kobold is forced to pull up short to avoid impaling itself.

Trying to stave help his beleaguered comrade in any way possible, the nearby javelin wielding Kobold strikes out at Brenwar. A quick dash to the left leaves Brenwar well out of harms way, and free to harass his opponent.

Wobbling on it's feet, babbling incoherently, the wounded shield bearer makes a deadly overhand cut at Brenwar. Luckily the paladin is ready and deflects the blow off his shield, shoving the kobold back and sending him reeling.

Miranna took a few seconds to scan the placement of their nimble reptilian foes, spinning her blade in a weaving net of steel around her. Glittering spikes of blue-white electricity began to dance up and down her sword as it whirled around, and a bass rumble echoed within the confines of the barn.

Once she was sure of where the enemy was, she began to move, and the lightning flowed from her sword out into the air, lashing towards the kobolds...

OOC: [sblock] Using Lightning Clash (encounter) first against the shield kobold; +2 from Shayla's Divine Glow, so that is +9 vs. AC; if it hits, that is 1d8+4 damage and make a secondary attack at one target within 5 squares- in this case +6 vs. REF for 1d6+4 lightning, against the wizardy (Again, this includes Divine Glow bonus). Then shift into O 17, and mark wizardy with her Aegis of Assault. All 5 of the kobolds begin to hiss and screech as lightning arced across their small scales. The dragonshield continues to spasm and twitch as it drops to the ground, smoke rising from its splitting skin.

Cheysuli's curse is fulfilled as smoke rises from the shield wielding kobold's body, a path through the Fey Dreaming becomes clear to Chey; as she steps through the other-worldly plane her form once again becomes as fallen forest leaves that rush with a sudden, forceless wind toward the robed lizard before coalescing back into the body of a tiefling. Wagging her finger at the hideous creature she whispers with deadly intent; "Oh, I am afraid you cannot get away from me that easily!"

[Sblock=ooc] My bad, shudnt have rushed. Yes it hit, and I meant to put you in N17, and yes there is a family up there. Also been looking at Mal's style and I'd be willing to give it a go next fight, especially where work has been so demanding lately it would speed things up I think.[/sblock]

The robed kobold screams, staggering under the divine energy channeled into it's flesh. The scales crack and split at the edges, blood seeping out around them.

Scanning the room and seeing where he can best help Patronis takes aim at the kobold attempting to climb the ladder. Waving his wand, grating words with no meaning streaming from his lips, hellish runes encircle the klobold and a blast of hellfire streaks towards the kobold.

Squealing in pain as the swirling runes ignite and amplify the flames, the pike wielding draconian barely hangs onto the ladder, digging furrows in the ladder with it's tiny claws.

Moving forward top finish what Patronis started, Mr. Bricks lunges forward dagger leading.

Slipping his dagger between the pikers ribs, once more the kobold grapples with the ladder, but unable to hold on he falls to the ground prone, lying at Mr Bricks feet. Seeing his opportunity Mr. Bricks lashes out once more, driving his dagge straight for the exposed kobolds midriff.

This time Mr. Bricks dagger finds it's mark, ripping the kobold open from navel to sternum and spilling it's lifeblood onto the dirt floor of the barn. Mr. Bricks looks up and winks at it's companion.

For a flicker of a moment, Chey's attention is divided as the eager kobold began its ascent up the ladder, but seeing Patronis and Mr. Bricks close on the unsuspecting creature, she is reassured, and turns her gaze fully back to the robed kobold.
"The rest of your pitiful life will be borne in torture and suffering, for the acts of evil you have committed shall be returned upon you tenfold!"
She all but screams at the diminutive wizard before loosing a great torrent of green fire at it.

[sblock=OOC]I think we should try and keep one of these little creeps alive, see if we can work some useful information out of it, so I'm going to be inflicting non-lethal at the wizardy kobold from now on.
